Watched the end of the Aussie innings last night. Went to bed thinking they'd beat India comfortably...

I guess they came out and bowled underarm or something? How the hell did India chase down 360 odd with 6 overs to spare?

I remember when we got 400 against South Africa in a one day match

I stayed up and watched us f**king lose

Mick Lewis is the worst bowler alive

Surely a team with the big show in it could defend 360 odd

360 with 39 balls to spare. It's perfectly conceivable that India could have chased down 410 to 420 had we set that for them. Unbelievable. Even on an absolute road of a pitch, they should have made a better fist of defending 360 then they did.

Inevitable when the system is so poor at bringing forth bowlers because its been spoilt by Warne and McGrath.

our system is f**ked

I remember when Brett Lee was having alot of trouble over stepping and being no balled and yet we had "cough lollies" as our bowling coach

Brett Lee had to fly to Perth and pay Lillee out of his own pocket to fix the problem which made a mockery out of our specialist bowling coach

Wikipedia says it's Alistair de Winter. Claim to fame is a handful of years as Shield cricketer for Tasmania and coaching Bangladesh's U19's to 5th place in the World Cup.

We really only need to look at some of the selections in the last 5 years to know Australian cricket is a shambles

de Winter seemed ok as bowling coach for Tassie. I just think we're picking the wrong attack for India. The ball doesn't do a lot so bowlers like Nuffy and Faulkner are a little wasted. IMO anyway. I'm terribly concerned for the future though given f**king Troy Cooley is the head of the Academy now....
