I will forever love Bennett for choosing to come to our club and helping us win a premiership which I never thought I'd see.
Not for one minute will I ever believe that through our great work and negotiating skills as a club, we got him. He chose us and we benefitted. Right club, right time.
He brought players to us that we could never have got without him and when he left he took players from us that we could never have kept.
Whilst thankful for him coming to us and his passion for success and will to win, I will never believe he did it for any other reason that for being an egotistical and arrogant prick. He knows how to get into the head of less intelligent people. The whole "he really cares about me as individual" thing. The bloke is a strategic master of playing with peoples minds. He is a genius. He doesn't give a shit about anyone but himself but he makes you believe that he cares. Wow cause he actually makes a note of asking the right questions. Like any good boss would do to those that require it.
He has just had a coach ousted sitting 5th on the ladder cause he wants to go home.
He does as he pleases, he is a law unto himself, he just used Doust and our club as the diversion.
I'm sick of the "he has his family in Brisbane and his family require ongoing care", with respect to the illness his son has, the bloke is a multi, multi millionaire. he can buy his own Corporate Jet and more help and fulltime care than they can possibly require.
