I'm just getting bitter and tired, more than anything. The school's just informed me that they deposited money into an old account despite me having provided them with details of the new account weeks ago.

Now, in my own free time, it is my job to go down to the bank and fix it. If it's anything like last time - where they accused me of not being me despite me having my passport with me - it'll be a fun adventure.

And that's assuming my old bank account even still exists. Last time I was there, they said they were closing it.

On your final day, you should do something extreme. Teach the kids about the radical west, a bunch of swear words, leave rotting fish in the apartment. Leave with a bang.

If it weren't for the fact the guy who hired me is still indirectly involved and that my immediate superiors are good people, I'd contemplate it.

Alas, the ones who deserve a slap at the Chinese, and anything I did to get revenge would most likely only affect the foreigners.

While I'm sure the people of Melbourne will no doubt feel like the Germans when the US made the D-Day landings, I feel that your retreat just three weeks later makes you more French than American.
