Went to the bank to solve my pay issue.
They inform me the account my school transferred to had been closed, so it should have bounced back.
Call my school, who had just sent me to the bank, and they confirm this is the case.
Why did you send me to the bank, then!?
i'd say it would be one of the following:
- excercise (they may be worried about your health)
- amusement (they've heard aussies are gullible and wanted to check it out)
- so they could rob your stuff whilst you were out
- the guy at the bank think's you're cute so phoned the school and had them send you down
- incompetence
- overcompetence
Wait....manual transmission is "obsolete" but libraries are to be celebrated? Le fuq?
as opposed to those movie rooms in which you hunt bison...They even have a movie room where you can watch movies.
Modern libraries are much more than just places where you find hard copies of books. The Melbourne library has a chess room. A gallery. They even have a movie room where you can watch movies. I mostly plan on taking advantage of the free wifi and using it as a study space.
the teller, while a guy and definitely feminine, scowled at me.

Libraries help me focus. If I'm studying at home I always leave everything to the last minute because I find a million ways to distract myself. If when I'm in Melbourne I dedicate entire trips into the city just to go to the library and study it'll help me focus and do things before the final 24 hours. To be honest, I will likely make use of the local library in either Glen Innes or Armidale when my travels take me there.
Part of my deal with myself for going home is that I will give myself two months to work solely on my novel. While my family home is certainly quiet enough, it might be handy to make use of the libraries in town from time to time so I can do research or eat something other than Mum's cooking.
Is this all fantasy again? Like the time you were a cop in Coogee?
