Although as a young pup I used to always giggle a bit when someone mentioned making an STD phone call.

"hello, jennifer? it's me. i have some news to tell you. i have herpes. you should get tested as well"

Prefer auto, mostly due to the convenience of it.

Yeah, money isn't my biggest issue in that sense. I've got an Uncle who is a mechanic, so he looks after me in that aspect.

My cousin has a Mazda 6. Nice card, but to large to my liking. I want to get away from the full-size sedan. Want something a bit more compact, especially, considering when I get back I'll do be much more inner-city driving so I want something a bit smaller.

If Honda made a similar, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I love my Honda Accord now, but it's not a 2003 model and starting to give a few issues, plus it's a V6 and rather expensive to upkeep given it's age.

I would highly recommend the Mazda 3 SP25. You can get it in a hatch or sedan, and it's a brilliant little car.

Someone mentioned an Alfa a few pages back.

IMO, Alfas are gorgeous cars and fun to drive, but their running costs will drive up up the wall, and their reliability is not the best.

I've never bothered to learn manuals. They're dying. Most new cars these days are semi autos or full autos.

Manual driving is as useful a skill as learning how to make a steam train go vroom vroom.
