I've had Vancouver talked up as just a great place. West Coast of Canada in general is mean to be amazing

Vancouver reminds me of Melbourne. It insists you love it.

Still a nice place. Seattle just seemed more relaxed with more things that interested me.

One though that I'm surprised didn't get a run was "Don't takes naps, on train tracks"

In the 8 months I lived in Alice Springs, 4 aborigines were killed when they went to sleep on the train tracks and got hit by trains.

I was a bit shocked at first.

The locals instead of being horrified by it, just say that the trains should have teflon coated front grills (True story)
