agree the bay beaches are pretty naff... but st kilda beach would be the equivalent of something you'd get near drummoyne..

vic surf coast > entire nsw coastline.

not bad.

Agreed with Drew, pretty great the whole way down the coast. Even the north beach/blue mile/lighthouse are of Wollongong is pretty nice. The city around crown street area though, lordy what a shithole it is

Oh I get it now. Everything you've said about.Melbourne has been a pisstake. Well in Rabbit

Agreed!

Not sure why we let them write their name on our badge...

Don't let them know but its only in crayon... :sarcasm:

More like GayBM amirite?

Here's the thing... Illawarra is actually classified as a locality around the South Coast, not actually part of it.

It pains me to admit this but you're right.

Excuse me as I go perform ritual suicide.

There is way more surf on the CC beaches that sth coast.

Pretty good surf around Ulladulla and had some massive waves at Sandown Point and places like Green Is but there is much more choice on the CC, like Avoca, Terrigal and further up towards Soldiers Point.

Victoria has some great coastline once you get well out of Melbourne, classic surf at Phillip Is, Torquay (near where I used to live) and down to Johanna. Problem with the Victorian coastline it that the water is just so cold its hard to enjoy a decent surf for say more than 2 hours.

Better surf on the CC? Can't agree tbh.

Anyone good with networking? Lol.

Trying to set up permissions on my home network. We have my computer, my laptop and the family computer on the network. Basically the only thing I don't want is the family computer to be able to access my laptop/computer... for obvious reasons, but it the access has to go the other way. Is there an easy way to do this without the pain of having to have it password protected?

I just thought of something as I hit submit... removing the family computer from the homegroup, and then sharing files with the homegroup only... should still be able to access the family computer through the network.

Go to your networks on your PC and turn on password protected sharing, turn that off for the family PC. Then right click, properties, sharing, enable sharing with everyone and home group for whatever folders you want access to on the family PC.

That should work.

So the homegroup thing didn't work.

That should work.

I have password protected sharing on on my own computer, but can access my computer from the family computer regardless. I have just set sharing to everyone in homegroup, though, because it won't let me share to my laptop if I don't.

My laptop doesn't seem to be able to access the same files on the home computer my main computer can either. I have no idea what I did when I set up this main computer tbh.

Homegroup is such a fickle thing. Try leaving the home group with all the PCs. You should be able to share with it turns off.
