If it weren't for the AFL obsession, I could easily live in Melbs. Much better city than Sydney
Melbourne does have an NRL team.

I'm smart enough to follow EVERY football code but even people who don't, for that to effect what they think of a city is crazy.

The majority of Melbourneians do not live and breathe AFL. Just like the majority of Sydneysiders do not live and breathe NRL. There are hundreds of thousands of people in both those cities that have little or no interest in sport and they manage to not get persecuted for that.

I just can't take a state seriously where their main sport is AFL
I can't take people seriously that enjoy homophobia.

Maybe they don't like you for other reasons?

Adelaide is freaking terrible. Perth's not that bad, nice coastal region.

I still think Wollongong's a great place to live though, especially in the north. Great beaches, great coastline in general, mountains, just over an hour from Sydney for anything good that comes up there, traffic not really an issue. It's great

Actually you're a bit off with that.Im always surprised at the number of non-footy types ( like your ABC cafe latte types and women.)who are passionate as hell about their AFL team in Melbourne. But you're right,it's not the case in Sydney.

Between Towradgi and Coledale is excellent (except maybe Corrimal)

How dare you! The Batemans Bay Tigers are truly modern sporting legends.
You're correct.

Batsman Bay Tigers >>> Wests Tigers.

Central Coast > South Coast

Better beaches. More things to see and do and of course, the central coast doesn't have a shit football team representing it.

You're just jelly ;-)

Have to agree on the beaches bit. Central Coast is blessed in that regard. Not sure on the 'things to do' bit.

Neither does the South Coast... because they've go no football team whatsoever.

 numpty. Does this ring a bell? Hint - its part of the name beginning with 'I'.
