You really are one seriously clever dude.

I hope she has mercy mate :) I don't like the look of them, but the WRX's do drive very well.

I reckon these 2011-2013 versions are the best looking since the original ones. Though when you look back now, they weren't all that good looking but at the time they were. I love the sound when you take your foot off the gas and the donk slows down and you get that Boxer burble sound......

Muz, this is why I love you. You put everything into perfect sense, these will be the lines used to her I think.......... I would love to throw her the keys but she can't drive a manual. Damn shame that.

What was your purchase mate?

bought a sports version of the new alfa romeos.. she complained at first, but one drive and she loves it now..

My 'quiet night in' turned out to be anything but.

There I was watching Aliens and feeling sorry for myself when this German divorcee I made out with a few weeks back starts texting me to tell me how drunk she is and that it's 'now or never'.

Great twinkie that I am - I initially shoot her down. An hour later, she messages:

One more shitty attempt. Where do you live?

It's hard being this f**king good looking

I used to drive a suburu liberty wagon from about 1992, awesome car. Looking at getting another car sometime in the next 12 months, would love an outback if I can find a decent one for a decent price

Ooooh an Alfa.

Something different, was it brand new?

took similar approach to what you did - a year old version of the current model.. best way to do it IMHO.. someone else cops the depreciation hit, whilst you get a current model car with warranty and you still enjoy the most important part - that new car smell..

something addictive about that smell.. i love it..

possibly the toxins..

2nd only to new car smell for enjoyment for me is new electronic gadget smell (eg tv, blu-ray player etc)..

handy cars the old subarus...

now whilst we are on the topic of cars, here is one i hate.

specifically this exact car. i hate it so much it may as well have a little white rabbit sticker on the back as well..

i see it around my area a fair bit, so must be someone who lives nearby..

it's a crappy chrysler PT cruiser, with fake wood panels, 'spinner' wheels, stupid fake chrome highlights and even has a fake bonnet scoop.

i despise this car. if you know who owns it, please tell them to buy something better. like a datsun stanza or something.

Yeah it had been wet, but stopped raining around 5:30pm. Just an ordinary turnout for a home game for the team coming first (at the time).
Hill would've been a bog last night, pissed down all week (rains been worse in Wollongong than Sydney for example).

Maybe there's some lingering resentment over there now being 4 games in Wollongong and 8 in Sydney, and the four games being low drawing teams in Brisbane, melbourne and Penrith (few fans and not always a heap of interest in playing those sides) + Cronulla. Bit of a f**k you to the region.

If the dragons keep their form up the crowds will be reasonable I imagine, but that's a bit of an if.
