"tea" is the single worst bit of the english language ever. Instead of calling it dinner people call it tea. DO YOU PEOPLE REALISE THAT IS THE SAME NAME AS SOMETHING ELSE THAT IS CONSUMED. It's like going out of your way to confuse people learning the language.

Dinner is dinner. Tea is the weak version of coffee. End of story.

Off to host another party bus.

If there's anything I'm really going to miss about China, it's going to be my role organising these fortnightly pub crawls.

It's stressful on the day, but I never fail to make new friends and even manage to pick up from time to time.

I daresay I've only got one more before I leave :(

But my initial points, BF, were twofold:

(1) saying "Mexican Spanish" is unnecessary. The differences in the Mexican dialects and other Spanish are minuscule.

(2) not one Spanish-speaking person would pronounce it the way we do; the "x" in Spanish is an extension of the "j", which is ALMOST pronounced like an English "h".

Shits me to tears hearing gringos pronounce Jorge as "Horr-hey".
