Just an FYI as well, there is also such thing Colombian Spanish, Chilean Spanish, Uruguayan Spanish, Rioplatense Spanish, Catalan Spanish, and even a dialect of Spanish spoken in Portugal which is a completely different country, and many more other dialects of the language.

It is a language spoken by 400 million in a world where it is the primary language in 21 of those.

Mate, before you try to get one-up on me, do your homework and research about your own ethnicity and language, please.

Btw BF - saying "Mexican" Spanish is akin to saying "Canadian" English, or "Australian" English. Apart from a few minor tweaks, the languages are essentially the same - same goes for Spanish. Pronunciations and spelling are pretty common across all dialects. All Spanish-speaking people say "meh-hee-coh".
