the planet is actually cooling, not heating up..

we'll have another ice age before mr gore comes to be shown as a prophet..

anyway, shall continue this argument in the morning..

Which is why people generally talk about climate change these days instead of the 'global warming' misnomer.

Gasquet vs Kyrgios was a pretty awesome tennis match.

Kyrgios was down 2 sets and won in the 5th set after saving 9 match points. He's 19 and this is first time at Wimbledon (wild card too), while Gasquet is #13 in the world. Crazy!

Maybe we finally have an Aussie who won't be a perpetual disappointment :sarcasm:

BDR had some issues with things here so he left

Didn't he come back a few times since then though? And I thought he put them on ignore anyway.

Waking up an hour before your alarm with a huge need to pee drives me crazy. May as well just get back up and do something pretty with my hair for today with the extra time.

I wasn't questioning the reasoning behind their departures/absences, just pointing out their absence has left a hole that hasn't been filled.

Is it LU? Or message boards in general?

Interesting question really. I have thought for sometime now that the social networks (and forums were the original social networks) have killed off a lot of the message boards. Facebook and twitter etc really have the lions share now.

Although, as Twizz say's; it's all very cyclic and I remember this conversation happening a few times over the years.

Happens to me all the time. For me, it's part of getting old I guess. Drank a bottle of water before I went to oztag the other night. Had a pee just before I left the house. Had to pee again 20 mins later when I arrived at the ground. Signed on, walked across to the field we were playing on and had to pee again. In this case it was cold weather + getting old but still... At times I'm like a friggin poodle nowadays.

I reckon Twizzle just permanently stays in the bathroom at his age.

Mines the diabetes. Happens. Couldn't tell you the last time I didn't get up at least twice in the night to go.

Oh please. Climate change deniers are only marginally better than creationists who believe dinosaurs were made up to test our faith.

Dinosaurs never existed. Everyone knows this. They're simply a figment of peoples imagination. The bones? Fakes. All of them. Everyone knows this. I mean, why would the T-Rex have such short arms if he was such an incredible predator? And if they were so mean and fearsome, how did they all end up dying?

Dinosaurs are mythical. Everyone knows this. Pretty obvious bait, lets see if anyone bites. I doubt it.

 That's actually one of the funniest things you've written on here Hoppity :) I got a good chuckle out of it, especially the poodle and Twiz comments

EDIT - loldef**kinglol Derp-Sta.

Sorry DKoR, no offense intended. Will leave here for hilarity's sake.

of course dinosaurs are mythical creatures..

those in the know are fully aware that those large bones they find are from dragons that were slayed in the middle ages..

and the t-rex? they just mixed up a couple of dragon skeletons..
never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down, never gonna run around and desert you

You really are an idiot. Man made climate change has occurred and will get worse. The odds of that statement being true are about 95%. We take out insurance on our houses for dangers that are somewhere in the region of 1%. It is absolute madness to not do the same for the planet.

Good God. Are you capable of independent thought? Or do you just regurgitate the opinions you see in the media?

As opposed to you regurgitating the thought of coal and oil companies. There are no certainties when it comes to predicting the future but if the danger was HALF as likely as it is now we should be taking precautions to avoid it.

If you're wrong civilization as we know it ends by the end of the century. If I and the thousands and thousands of scientists are wrong, we pay a few unnecessary taxes and price increases.

The risk is too dangerous to ignore.

BM, we could completely eliminate all our output, and America and england and france and germany could all join us, and it wouldn't touch China's output. Wouldn't even make a dent. Nothing we do as individuals can help, and nothing we can do as countries can help.
