Parents have promised to send me $200 a week and keep paying for my iphone when I move. An optimist would think they love me and want me to be safe. A pessimist would think they're just trying to make sure I don't go broke so I don't come back.

Speaking of dole bludgers, I daresay I'll be applying as soon as I get back. I intend to find work in the area if I can, but apparently the area is in a bit of a slump employment wise :(

IMO if you have to get centrelink doing study is a lot less hassle. It's a little bet less money but it's worth being left alone and not having to deal with their idiotic unhelpful job agencies. And you can still look for work while you study. That's basically what I'm doing.

As much as I'd like to study, I don't think I'll be in Australia long enough to commit to anything unless it's a TAFE course. Do they count?

I really need a health care card. My medications are becoming too expensive for me to afford. Might try for one again. Been getting knocked back for a decade.
