I swear, I can't work girls out. So just before I left the states I met this girl through a friend. At the time, she was giving subtle hints she liked me and I partly-noticed them, buy my friends kept point it out. (Part of me avoided them for reasons I won't say)

Anyway, we hang-out a bit. Mutual friend of ours goes to me "Give me TimTams and in return I can talk you up to her". So, without even asking he knew something was up. Anyway, US summer break came, I head home, so does he. We talk a bit. I tell her I'm not coming back and she explodes and goes all angry, as if it's my fault? She reckons I was playing her and toying with her. I have zero idea how to handle this situation now. I mean, usual me wants to be my dick self and just say "Get f*cked", but I don't think that's right in this case.

Invite her to Australia for a booty call?

Otherwise, I wouldn't get too worked up. It's not like you chased hard, hooked up, then ditched her. By the look of it, your friends have probably said something that puts you in an awkward position. Nothing you can do.

 Bahahahaha. In honesty, most of that is tongue in cheek. I love Australia even with it's flaws. US? Well, they have their flaws. Mostly that it's crazy rednecks who think they're #1.

I didn't say anything, that's the thing.

If it involves women, there is no logical rhyme or reason.

I don't care for NFL, but man this Hayne stuff is fun to watch.

it's scary, if he grabs their attention with his skills the scouts might come here and try to knab more of our elite players and our money can't compete with theirs even with a $1700000000 rights deal and salary cap increase

Go back over there & coax her into the sack. Dump your taddies on her back, wipe your bat on her favourite dress to clean up. When she complains, suggest ATM would be a preferred cleanup option for you. Then ask her if her mum is divorced and adventurous. This whole scenario should take place in under a minute. She will drive you to the airport & pay for a business class ticket back to Australia for you. Problem solved.

Yo, SGL - do you know of a Nicholas (or Nick) Barlow? Worked at Rockpool and Bar Brighton before that.

Drew, Nick Barlow is a man of many talents not least axe wielding to design stunning woodwork but also wielding exciting guitar work with his band The Bad Noise. With a strong rhythm group in John Cleator’s drumming and Dave Reekie’s bass the band have been making waves on the local music circuit with their take on garage rock and some fine self penned songs from Nick.

Hope that helps mate.

Mum just told me dad is going in for a biopsy on his prostate on Thursday. They found a lump and his last few check ups have shown results being concerning.

I feel small and afraid :(
