Yeah, they're even worse than the legions of bandwagon Queenslanders. I couldn't stomach pulling on that jersey as a fan, let alone as a representative.

at one stage ashton was in the Fijian side, Tariq was in line for city country and korbin was in the emerging maroons/u20 side.

Makes perfect sense

They're all eligible for Fiji, and I've got no issue with them lending their experience to a developing nation.

Queensland don't need to keep poaching NSW players, but they do it anyway. Shameless.

Its ok, even I didn't watch Parra much last season....

8. Junior Paulo
9. Nathan Peats
10. Tim Mannah (c)
11. Manu Ma'u
12. Beau Scott
13. Anthony Watmough

Tepai Moeroa
Kenny Edwards
Danny Wicks

Only players worth a squirt in that lot are Ma'u, Wicks and Peats. The rest are either bog average or well past used by date. If Paulo gets shipped off as rumoured then you bring in someone like Gower and the pack is weaker again.

Moeroa and Paulo are two of the better young forwards going around and you know it. You criminally underrate Mannah who while not a match winner is a hard worker who averaged 113m a game last season and made more metres than any Souths forward who wasnt named Burgess (for eg). Wicks looked good for the most part last year but Mannah was miles better. Edwards was actually our best forward before his injury. Our pack isnt top tier, but calling it terrible simply shows you haven't actually seen any of them. It will do the job and has plenty of upside in terms of young players. Plus Watmough and Scott, while past their best, are still quality edge defenders which is what our pack has really been lacking, not metres. Shit taking Sef Paulo out and replacing him with a cutout of Beau Scott would instantly improve our defence.

Losing Junior will be a blow, however that won't happen til 2017 at this stage (if at all, it's because his manager is Tyran Smith more than anything) but I reckon Alex Twal will be better anyway so it may not hurt us in the long term, with Wicks hopefully stepping into his role and Alvaro or Twal come along. But it's not an issue for 2016 yet.

It's ok Baz, at least Parra have a forward for each position, Souffs are hoping Big Sam can fill 5 jerseys

Three early starts in a row for me.

- Shopping for Dad's birthday present tomorrow
- 15k walk to Glencoe on Thursday for a pub feed
- Helping Dad paint the house we're trying to sell

My life of leisure has not made me accustomed to such things!
