afternoon

Tui beer is very meh
Yep. Could handle Speights of the cheap beers, but when there are Monteith's and some of the Mac's, plus other craafts around the place there's not much point to the cheapest ones.

Also, I drank Coopers for the first time in an age last night, nice to have a good beer that isn't also overwhelmingly alcoholic ala American beers (which are damn good but leave me wrecked in no time).

@Bazal (or anyone else) good areas to live in Canberra? Looking within 10 km of the CBD as I'm working in there. Got a few places im keeping an eye on in Macquarie, Bruce, Griffith, Hackett. i everywhere basically fine though?

Trying to find some trade off before not unreasonable rent and avoiding driving as much as possible, although have heard bad things about public transport.

Whole family is away at a wedding today and then off to Canberra for a week.

House to myself. Gym to myself.

Working out, watching the A-League, watching the Royal Rumble, and sleeping all day.

Glorious.

Fun fact: Tui means chief in Tongan.

I need to exercise more. Starting to become far more exhausted than I've ever been.

I'll throw out another beer factoid.

Tanzania's best beer, Ndovu, is named for the Swahili word for elephant.

braddon thru to anslie / Dickson is not a bad bet..

essentially Canberra is divided up into major regions, so Bruce etc is Belconnen and is essentially the burbs..

if you are happy to go a bit more suburban, look 10k south of the city and go woden area..

speaking of joining the words 'beer' and 'elephant' together, don't drink carlsberg elephant beer, followed up by a whole heap of russian vodka..

did that last night to de-stress after a shit week at work..

was paying for it through to about 6pm tonight..
