Warner is a certainty for the rest of the summer. But beyond? Not yet.

If he doesn't make runs in the next 4 tests he will have a grand total of ONE score of 50+ in his last TEN tests. That's terrible. If that happens he is no certainty to keep getting picked.

Phil Hughes has two scores above 50 in his last 19 tests. What makes it really disgraceful is a lot of that is against weaker opposition.

What the f**k are you talking about? He hasn't even played 19 tests in total. He's played 17 with 3 100s and 3 50s.

And fyi he scored 126 and 88 in his last 5 tests before getting dropped.

He got dropped after 2 bad tests.

Me arguing for Warner being dropped IF he doesn't score in the next 4 tests is not some extreme opinion. 1 score above 50 in 10 tests would be far worse than any stretch Hughes has had at test level.

Warner is still doing far better than Hughes was.
