Worst hump day of the year for me. Had to get up in the dead hours of the morning to perform scheduled IT work and then had to get back up at 6am to make sure my dead hour work succeeded. All done now and I'll be paid well for it, but it doesn't compensate the fact I'll feel s*** now for the rest of the day.

Warner not a certainty? What the bloody hell does he have to do to become one? Surely he has more runs on the board (literally and figuratively) than Cowan, at the very least? I'd be inclined to express the same incredulity about Lyon. He showed in Adelaide he's a decent bowler, and far, far superior to any other spin option we have.

Basically keep doing what he's doing for an extended period and try and become more consistent at the same time.

He's only been apart of the side for what? A year? He hasn't established himself enough just yet for me to consider him a certainty. One bad series and he'd be straight out of the line up. Heck, there were reports he was going to be left out of the Adelaide test.
