Ive got a 12 year old Puma Original. If I hit it in the middle it goes good, anywhere else though I may as well use a fence pailing!

Sounds like a personal problem Don't worry, three matches ago I couldn't hit it off the square, now my average since New Year break is 54.

Aside from the epic headache and the snoring from said spoonererer, it was worth it.

Interesting theory, perhaps lack of CA bat is why my batting has been so poor this season...

My advice is just play every ball one at a time. Forget about the match, forget about where the field is...just play every ball as it comes. If it goes to the field, forget about it and play the next delivery. Worked for me. I was trying to carry my rubbish side and getting under all sorts of pressure...I decided screw those guys, I'd bat my way.

My problem is that Im ordinary against anything off more than a four step run-up. Add that into the fact my team says I can open or bat in the tail makes life difficult seeing as I dont bowl.

Tell them you'll bat 8. That's the tail. Then just swing from the sphincter against spinners :lol:

Problem is there are only two teams in 3rd Grade with a spinner, and we are one of them!

Well if your net form improves, you might get a run for Australia. Inverarity loves that shit.

It sounds simple, but takes the pressure off anyway. I literally just started saying "just play it" to myself before every ball.

Ive never taken batting practice in the nets serious, I don't do it. I'd either face throw downs are the bowling machine. Get myself sorted that way. Net batting is a false, fake demon.

I also never have throw downs before I bat. I feel like it gives me a false sense of security. Would rather go out there knowing my eye isn't in.
