Come to the conclusion I need one of those CA bats the Sri Lankans are using. It's the only reason I can think of that my batting is so poor in club cricket...

I pretty much plan on slugging straight from the bottle the second I walk off the field at the end of play. Need a big night, I think...

I thought this was a league forum? Why so many lovers of other sports that think soccer/tennis/afl & cricket are better than league?

Everyone here is a league fan. Some of just happen to think others sports are also great.

3. There's no question of me being a bad sport. It's been confirmed I was town so I have no other information that other townies don't have. I don't know anything besides the content of the game thread. But when the writing was on the wall about me being next to go I made it very clear that I was convinced of the identities of at least 2 Mafia. In fact almost every vocal townie that has been killed has been onto at least one of whall and BDR if not both.

They got everyone killed who was onto them and now the only townies remaining are the dumbest ones. Reverse natural selection.

Town will lose this Mafia game.

Modern bats are arse IMO...I dread the day my Slaz V600 gives up the ghost. Hate the feel of every modern bat I've picked up, and I hate the fat edges. Almost guarantees a nick will carry, seems stupid.

Ive got a 12 year old Puma Original. If I hit it in the middle it goes good, anywhere else though I may as well use a fence pailing!

Aside from the epic headache and the snoring from said spoonererer, it was worth it.

I enjoy cricket more than league...although that will probably change if/when I'm fit enough to play league again and if/when my side stops being just abysmal

I prefer cricket to league too and am in the same boat as you with abysmal league team, I would also love to go back to playing footy. But I don't think there is any chance league could surpass cricket in my mind, limited overs cricket maybe, but definitely not the real thing

Interesting theory, perhaps lack of CA bat is why my batting has been so poor this season...
