So... after getting absolutely thrashed for the first month and a half of my new job... I just got told the rest of my week is unbooked time - and that I'm pretty much free to research and do my own internal shit. Zero pressure, zero expectation for the rest of the week.

On top of that, I have a half-day on Friday leading into the long weekend... just because.

In other amazing news, it looks like I'll be a Surry Hills resident in a couple of short weeks. Must resist urge to punch hipsters in the face. A 5 minute walk to work in the middle of the City appeals to me greatly, though... as does a cruisey walk to the SFS/SCG from my front door.
