I can see how people making stuff up would be upsetting to you.

Yesterday and overnight, have had the best rainfall here for almost 4 months.
Will put much needed water in the tank.
We are now getting the weather front moving through here from ex TC Oswald, could be in for a few wet and windy days and watching to see if the ex TC reforms north of Fraser Island.
Was coming down here so hard just a while ago, the gutters were backing up and overflowing.
I thought there was something wrong as that normally doesn't happen and wanted to get up and check it but my wife said,
"Don't you go out in the rain"
but I had to clear the gutters and it had been raining for so long I figured now was as good a time as any and I might never have that time again.

Turns out there was a bloody cricket ball stuck on top of down pipe !
