No. Just something on my mind that I felt like saying. People making stuff up to make someone they don't like look bad. In this case xenophobes and foreigners respectively.

Tired. So tired. So happy. Wife went into labour Tuesday night.
Kept at it until 12.20am Thursday morning when our 3.5kg daughter finally made it out.
Wife: trooper.
Daughter: healthy lungs to say the least.
Me: impressed. She went way beyond what the nurses thought most women could bear in a fairly difficult labour that should really have been a ceasar.

Congrats to you and your wife.

Yeah, grats smbn. That's a pretty damn long labour, glad you all made it through both sane and healthy. I can't think of a more terrifying experience for any number of reasons.

It scares me how long they let labour go on for these day. I have a friend who, during her first pregnancy, was in labour for 4 days. In the end she had to have an emergency c-section. Afterwards her uterus wouldn't constrict, she lost a lot of blood, nearly died and had to have a hysterectomy. No previous problems. She sued the hospital for a lot of money but it'll never enable her to give her daughter a brother or sister
