I ruined Ouzo and Vodka for myself in the same year at Uni.

Vodka was the only spirit my mates and I could afford, so we'd go to parties and shot the shit to get us in the festive spirit. I hated the taste, so I'd chase with whatever was nearby - beer, mixed drinks, wine, red cordial... Threw up so much red, syrupy crap that night that everybody thought I was bleeding internally.

Ouzo was the victim of a cocktail party. All of the hottest girls from my high school were serving drinks at a one year reunion party. We'd all suited up and I was throwing back whatever I was offered, including polishing off a bottle of Ouzo and Coke. Black vomit full of sundried tomato stained my suit and my friend's parents' carpet. I'm still not welcome there.

My poor Dad had to drive next to his still drunk, vomit covered son for the ninety minutes back to Jennings. He ran me a bath and told me to sleep it off. I woke up freezing cold in said bath four and a half hours later. Can't drink Ouzo or Sambucca now.

But Canadian Club or Crown Royal? That shit is smooth.

I had a mate who chucked in the passenger seat of my car and we were on a highway...as he chucked he put his head out the window and it all flew back and hit my other mate in the chest in the back (he had his window open as well).

Getting paid to sit in a car, air con and radio blasting, for 25 minute stints before having to go do 5 mins of work, then back to car for more sitting. Win

I had to escort a co-worker home sometime last year after she'd rendered herself borderline paralytic before she'd even met up with us. On the way home she said she felt sick, so I wound down the window and told her to go out there.

Nope. She turned and vomited at her feet. Three times. Every time within inches of the window.

I had to pay the cab driver off after the ride. Still waiting for that money back from her.

It really is. American swill like Pabst Blue Ribbon or Natty Boo at least have the decency to basically be water. Red is aggressively bad tasting.

The new VB is actually the old VB recipe that was the best selling beer in Australia, why they changed the recipe to the best seller remains a mystery, but thankfully they have seent he light and VB is now once again drinkable.

I can tolerate both of them, although Dos Equis is better than Corona and Pure Blonde is merely tolerable.

I agree especially with the Corona, people say oh but its better with lemon/lime. Wtf if I want to drink beer I don't want to spend an hour cutting up crap to make it taste better.

Dos Equis is one of my go to beers actually, good drop
