Most stressful race to an airport ever. Took 30 minutes to flag a cab whose driver stopped to pee, buy cigarettes, make a phone call, and get gas. Got here ten minutes before boarding and sprinted to the gate. Flight due to depart at 6.20, but thankfully they didn't start boarding until 6.18. Made it!

In other news, I must be at long odds to make my connecting flight in Guangzhou. I was cutting it fine with a ninety minute window as is. I reckon we won't leave here until 40 minutes after departure scheduled. This is China.

f**king exhausted, had to help my cousin move today. Got to his new place and the owner has still not fixed the pool pump (He's renting). So I decide to give it a shot. Took a while; but I managed to get it up and running. I had to shove my hand in the filter section and dig out the piles of leaves and sticks that have accumlated; upon doing so. Pull out a dead funnel web spider....
