The lake at Uni would've risen by a good 5 metres, given it's part of the canal system I wonder firstly how many trillion dollar houses might have been affected, and secondly how many bullsharks I'll find sitting on the lawn this afternoon.

Classes on a public holiday too, f**king merkins.

Not sure what's going on anywhere else... apparently Telstra services up north are down and that's wiped out most of Cairns' ability to do anything, Brisbane has copped a bit of a hammering but everyone ok and there's people flooded in/stuck by downed lines and trees.
