Yeah I heard some people had issues when they installed the new iOS4 onto their phones. But mine didn't even have it at that stage.

It's fixed now, but it was a really random breakdown.

When my phone works, I love it. Best phone I've ever had. But it just appears like I got a "lemon" out of the box with all the issues it's had and it's made me a little mad at Apple. But like I said, when it works fine it's a super phone.

FFS...Spoke too soon. Piece of sh*t phone died on me AGAIN.

Anyone have any ideas for a phone that is better than an iPhone? 'Cos, quite frankly, I'm fed up. I want out and to get a good phone.

I have like 1,500 songs I want to store on my phone so I can listen to them wherever I am. Some phones just don't have enough memory or connectivity to just "plug and play". But I have actually heard good things about HTC.

I've got like 12 months to run on this contract but if the phone is useless, I am happy to buy myself out tbh...

And I apologise for the rant, everyone. Just tired of my phone giving me a hard time.

The Xperia comes with Vodafone, too. Which is good.

I'm hoping either (1) the stupid phone fixes itself, or (2) Vodafone acknowledges I've been a great customer of theirs for years and they give me a deal to buy myself out. I still have like 12 months to go and it'll cost like $800 to buy out the deal...

Having said that, it might be worthwhile for me just to have a functional phone. Does the Xperia work with iTunes? Or would it work? It is my only media player on my computer, so I figure it'd be the only way to transfer music to the phone.

Nah it doesn't work with Itunes...but I've used it as a thumb drive, put songs on without syncing and they work no worries as long as they're mp3. I can't imagine it'd be a huge issue to download winamp or some other player anyway tbh

Never bought an iphone and never will...too many cracked screens and nightmare stories like yours Eel to be wasting my life trying to fix a silly phone.

I have a blackberry bold at the moment...not flash but reliable for work etc.
