Nah it doesn't work with Itunes...but I've used it as a thumb drive, put songs on without syncing and they work no worries as long as they're mp3. I can't imagine it'd be a huge issue to download winamp or some other player anyway tbh

Never bought an iphone and never will...too many cracked screens and nightmare stories like yours Eel to be wasting my life trying to fix a silly phone.
I have a blackberry bold at the moment...not flash but reliable for work etc.
I used to have a Blackberry (can't remember the model). Served me well. Contract expired. I "upgraded" to the iPhone 3GS. And have had issues ever since. I mean who has issues with a phone when it's been out of the box for one freaking week? What a lemon!
I thought the iPhone would be perfect. Compatible with my laptop, 32Gb storage (PLENTY of room), it's got an inbuilt iPod player so I can store and play all my music and videos, and it has a good interface for emails.
Alas, I don't think I'll keep it.
