I got sun stroke on Monday and because I trained too hard then and yesterday, my muscles are so f**ked now, my lower back is killing me, I've had a migraine for three days, I struggled to get through a ladders workout, consisting of push ups, inverted rows, let me ins and military press, I am so ashamed of myself.

My lower back hurts like hell.

Seriously Cliffy, you need to actually stop and let your body rest when shit like that happens to you. If you had have done that you'd probably feel ok today

I walked home in the blistering heat carrying a back pack that weights ten kilos and 7 kilos of groceries. It was a 3 and a half k walk too. That's after a 1 and half hour workout in the morning and exam and three hours of climbing, not to mention I had had less than three hours sleep.

The fact I'm not in hospital is a testament to my strength.

The one thing about those old karting games is how difficult they were. Not so much CTR but Super Mario Kart and Diddy Kong Racing still require a lot of focus if you want to beat the AI on the hardest difficulty.

DKR on hard was FUUUUUUUUUUUUU- but i did it. I've never beaten Special Cup 150cc on SMK. merkins f**ked.

Dude. just 2-3 days rest. Let those muscles recover. You won't get fat :lol:

Missing two days won't make you fat, but what if I fall out of the habit of training after missing two days, or feel bloated from two days of not training. This will lead to self deprecation and frustration,making me less motivated to train, my sessions will get weaker and my effort will decrease, they become less effective, and then I'll eat icky food to try and feel better only to feel worse, then the guilt will make me eat more.

You could just not do those things. 'less motivated' = your choice in the end. Take care of yourself for just a couple of days mate

Seriously, you are going to damage yourself, possibly irreversibly, if you continue to push your body too far or when it is screaming at you to take a break. What happens if you end up in hospital and cant train for weeks?

Cliff you'll fall out of habit more if you're forced to, because of injury....especially a sore lower back......slipped/ruptured disc...do not want!
