lol...thats not so bad. ~260k a year for a half isnt exactly outrageous. Overs sure, but there are surely worse examples around. For example, the Bulldogs actually fed Brett Kimmorley, which is pretty much overs imo.

The crazy thing is they have another solid half prospect in Riccardi coming through. Spent the year in NSW Cup despite being eligible for Under 20's.

Former Broncos junior too although truth be told, he left the club at 18 and has improved out of sight for the Sea Eagles. If I was to bag the Sea Eagles out on that, it'd be like the Roosters bagging us out for Winterstein although he went from a nuffie reject into a handy winger. Or Dragons trying to claim Tariq Sims as theirs although he was a nuffy winger for them.

Well the Sims brothers are all Illawarra juniors. You can't keep 'em all, and it's inevitable that some of those you let go will turn out to be guns, and some of those you keep will turn out to be duds.

Having said that, I'd dead set crawl naked over broken glass to get Tariq back, even if it meant Ashton coming home as well.
