Bred not bought is my favourite tbh.

Can't believe we made that shirt, albeit the club was going through epic butthurt from all the poaching done to us, we still looked like derpy merkins when we went on a spending spree a couple of years later.

Although in our defence the shirt and the spending spree were under different management.

I hate the Bulldogs as much as anyone but calling them "rape dogs", or "rapists" or whatever is plain crass, offensive and wrong.

First of all they were never proven guilty, then there's the fact that none of the current players were in the mob that were accused of rape, so basically you're calling a bunch of innocent men rapists and that is wrong on so many levels, it always shows a clear disregard for the seriousness of this issue.

Respect. *fist bumps Cliffhanger*

Too true, the game is changing, but it still feels a bit dirty to just come out of nowhere when a team has nurtured a junior, doing all the hard work and just through a tonne of cash at him.

Our 2008 squad is enough of an argument against a strict policy of not buying players from elsewhere

:lol::lol:

That side was epic !

We had players leaving left right & centre, an injury toll to end all injury tolls and a NSW cup team playing first grade.

Willie Mason left because he wasn't allowed to start his glittering boxing career. How many professional fights has the big man had thus far?

Big willie is back where he belongs now as evidenced by the "Big Willie appreciation thread" in the knights forum

I'm not bagging big Willie in fact I was one of very few people I think that said he'd be great for the knights, just bagging the circumstances in which he left the dogs. Still beat money bills departure though

Its cool mate never thought you were bagging him, i dont like the way he left the dogs either. I truly hope the roosters don't get moneybill back next year they should be above that hack.

I can't wait for Sonny Bill to join us, will be epic. We aren't above anyone, if I was Politis, I would happily buy satan if he played like SBW.
