Was Howzat any good? I couldn't bring myself to watch it knowing it was a channel 9 funded docudrama about Kerry Packer.
I found the first half interesting and I intend to watch the second half next Sunday. I don't know the level of dramatization in it but if it is factual, they are showing things most people wouldn't know about. They are making the Cricket authorities of then look like stuffed shirts.

:? They set a time? Usually its something like the third week in October next year.

He said between 7 and 10. He showed up at 8.30. Very cranky man. I did my hair all pretty while he fixed it. Got a lunch thing with the baker. Naw.

What I learned this weekend:

- people are ridiculously petty and massive hypocrites

- Lachy Hulme is a remarkable actor

- Howzat is awesome, sent me on a history-searching trip

- The Newsroom is awesome, there's not enough TV like it. Best show on TV since Boston Legal IMO.

- People don't know what consistency is. Referees finally displayed it this weekend.

Probably cranky because his partner knocked back an offer. :sarcasm:

Consistency my arse. Someone came up with the Benji "drop kick", but, in a massive surprise to no-one, it was ruled a knock on. And there has been 0 consistency on obstruction calls for a long time (which I think is the fault of the way the referees guidlines are written). Now let me guess, you don't think the Dogs final try was an obstruction?

I don't even have to go searching to know that you are bitching about that terrible decision in the Dogs Tigers game... Trust you to be defending that shit decision right up to the hilt though. Had it have gone the other way you'd be on the other side of the fence and in fact I seem to remember you being on the other side of the fence when an equally shit decision ruined Origin.

I am as non-biased as anyone when it comes to that game as I hate both of those teams equally and with a passion. Tigers got shanked right there though.

Consistency is one thing, but two wrongs don't make a right either and Parramatta were also robbed by an equally poor call.

By all rights, both of those referee's should be seeing NSW cup duty this week. Harrigan will find some way to explain his way out of it.

Joey Johns was right in his call on Friday night and anyone who has played even five minutes of serious Rugby League would know that.

Feeling good, 80kg back squat (below parallel too because I'm not a pussy and not stupid enough to believe that your knees going over your toes will destroy your knees)

Pfft you only get your knees over your toes occasionally?
I have my stomach over my toes constantly.
