What I learned this weekend:
- people are ridiculously petty and massive hypocrites
- Lachy Hulme is a remarkable actor
- Howzat is awesome, sent me on a history-searching trip
- The Newsroom is awesome, there's not enough TV like it. Best show on TV since Boston Legal IMO.
- People don't know what consistency is. Referees finally displayed it this weekend.
I don't even have to go searching to know that you are bitching about that terrible decision in the Dogs Tigers game... Trust you to be defending that shit decision right up to the hilt though. Had it have gone the other way you'd be on the other side of the fence and in fact I seem to remember you being on the other side of the fence when an equally shit decision ruined Origin.
I am as non-biased as anyone when it comes to that game as I hate both of those teams equally and with a passion. Tigers got shanked right there though.
Consistency is one thing, but two wrongs don't make a right either and Parramatta were also robbed by an equally poor call.
By all rights, both of those referee's should be seeing NSW cup duty this week. Harrigan will find some way to explain his way out of it.
Joey Johns was right in his call on Friday night and anyone who has played even five minutes of serious Rugby League would know that.
