No idea. I do know the AFL has an app you can download, and stream the games, live scores, stats, whatever you need. The NRL does not, and as far as I can see there's nothing about it happening (yet)
I'm fairly sure foxsports announced they're creating an app and other features, the games can be streamed to Ipads etc. They've also got the IPTV rights for their 5 games.
The mobile rights agreement hasn't finished yet.
It wasnt about Brisbane till it was pointed out it is bloody well about Brisbane. C'mon Pete...jeez.Not really.
Bigger things to worry about then obsessing over one club getting on Friday night. It wasn't about Brisbane until others made it about Brisbane.
Today was a big victory for the code, it's comical how some fret over trivial details such as that.
I'm looking forward to the online arrangements. That could be huge, especially if it means they'll open up the vault some more.
This moronic "games still won't be in HD" thing is funny.
They WILL be from 2014, after analog is switched off.
Canberra can be whatever it likes, the SD signal is sent out from the OB at the ground and is beamed around the country on 9 or GEM as required. They won't do it until everyone in Australia can get HD (ever tried broadcasting HD into an Analog set? unfortunately a few million nation wide haven't switched over yet). That's the story. Is it moronic? The games are filmed in HD. Yet it's moronic to want them broadcast that way? Lol, pretty sure it's more moronic to film them in HD and not broadcast them...Canberra is ALREADY SWITCHED and we still can't get HD footy. That's what's moronic Timmy old boy
They've said that NRL will be broadcast in HD from 2014, not sure how much clearer that can be.Just because they are switching Analog off in 2014 gives no guarantees whatsoever nein will broadcast it in HD as they are simply turning off Analog and can keep broadcasting in SD.
But will the schedule be fair?
