when are Manly going to fine Stewart?
he was pissed in public just like Seymour
should be fined
piss weak Manly
weak as piss
no wonder the players at your club are out of control
It isn't proven that Stewart has done anything wrong yet. You can't fine players for being refused service at a pub, that is just ridiculous. The accusations against Stewart are serious, but unless it is proven how can you punish the bloke? What if it has been blown out of proportion and he didn't break the law? Does he get his fine money back? I don't know what country you live in, but in Australia our justice system states that a person is innocent until proven guilty.
In Watmough's case there was a scuffle, this is not denied, and as a result he was fined $10,000. In Jake Friend's case he was caught, by police, driving 3 times over the limit, he was fined $10,000 and copped a 2 game suspension.
As for Seymour's case, I don't know if he did anything wrong other than being drunk, but if not then I think the punishment from the Sharks was severe.
These blokes are footballers, not saints. They are role models on the field, not off. Maybe you should conentrate on supporting your team on the field rather then worrying about players getting fined for off field behaviour.
I hope you have never had to much to drink diablo

"Stewart's solicitors, meanwhile, have sent a "show cause" letter to the NRL arguing against the severity of his four-match ban. While his legal team does not expect the fullback to be reinstated, the letter disputed Gallop's assertion that Stewart was refused service at the Manly Wharf Hotel just hours before the alleged sexual assault of a 17-year-old girl outside his home."
And don't forget Stewart's solicitor has originally stated that Stewart was NOT too drunk to be interviewed by police..
The simple fact is we do not know as fact what Stewart actually did wrong other than as Gallop is now saying it happened on a Red Letter Day and he was the face of Rugby League.........
(Some of you can believe the so-called unnamed family and friends who told the media he was tooooo drunk to remember {very believable } I'll wait until the actual facts come out. Unfortunately due to the current court case that may be some time).
Manly did NOT act differently to any other club before them.
