That would be unbelievable. Awesome live band, went off at the manning bar years ago when I saw them, chimaira supported if memory serves me correctly.

Yeah I saw them last time they came on a SW tour. 2009 I think it was. Very good then.

gee the BDO has changed, they normally sell in 10 mins now you can buy them online at any time

still not convinced on the BDO line up yet, need to see more metal before I invest in tickets

BDO for some time now has developed the habit of signing up one or two metal bands to play the token mid-afternoon slot (e.g. Deftones this year) whereas AJ has shown far more dedication to the metal scene by installing an all day stage for metal fans. If you want metal, BDO is no longer the place for it. SW completely dominates BDO for metal.

I'm going to both, but my BDO will be far more relaxed because I'll be able to sit back and have a beer at the bar while some mid-afternoon filler like the Hilltop Hoods play that I don't care about. I don't think I'll spend a single hour watching filler at SW. I'll be swearing my head off the night before about the number of clashes on the timetable. 20 plus bands on my hitlist dammit. I could go to 2 SW's and I don't think I'd be able to cover every band I'd want to see. Damn AJ and his astute recruitment skills.

I completely forgot that they played SW, jumped onstage before Lamb of God, I was at that one as well :lol:

Stoked Bush are on the bill, always been a band that I wouldn't mind seeing. There are going to be so many clashes on the day, it'll end up being quite depressing.
