I know, it was great to watch. France and Australia unlucky, they both smashed the world record as well.

Looked good.... I prefer it when its not a lay down misere and its something out of the blue. Piersol will be hard to beat but he has a bit of a psychological edge that always can help.

Perkins in 96, Armstrong, Susie O'Neill and Seiben are probably the most memorable wins for mine.....

It was interesting that Australia put Sullivan first. Most countries (and Australia usually does) put their fastest swimmers last. Of all the finalists Australia was the only country that did (Until the first leg of the relay when Phelps broke the American record, the fastest US swimmer in 100m was swimming the last leg)

There are way way too many swimming events. Why do you need 4 different strokes? Its like having the 100m run, the 100m hop, the 100m skip and the 100m run backwards. No one should even have a chance to win 8 golds.

Quite werid how Rice is only in the Medley especially considering how she is a world record holder. Thought she might be in the butterfly or backstroke or one of the four strokes.
