Channel Nine are scum mate.....trying to create grubby headlines out of nothing.
Indeed. Whilst I was never really Nein's biggest fan, I didn't really hate them like many on here do. I actually thought the first half commentary was very good from Rabs and Gus, kept their dribble to a minimum, but holy f**k that second half was torture.

Also Freddy must be really annoying for non-Rooster (and Penrith?) supporters, him and Jnr Jnr laughing broght a smile to my face but it must have been cringey as shit to others.

Here is a shot of the superimposed frames of when the ball was first touched by Lui and when it first hit the ground .

A few things to note.
1. Ball touching Lui in the right side circle.
2. Ball touching ground left hand circle.
3. Yellow Line = parallel to 30m line (30m line not touched they are overplayed perfectly from both frames used).
4. Lui's body from the superimposed image has been removed in order to see the ball initially hit him.

50/50 call. Combined with the bullshit from the previously 10mins Cowboys have no luck against the refs.

LOL you make the line where Lui was when the ball was 5m away from him?!

Clutching at straws at its best

Have to laugh at all those having a go about the sbw strip. There was one against the roosters in the first half which was a joke of penalty followed up by the gridiron pass. Sbw was also hit high twice late in the 2nd half but got up each time, no help from the refs there. Calls both ways but last knock on was clear. Didn't see jt whinging last week when hodges was ruled to knock on when broncos were making a comeback. Number of obstruction plays run by cowboys as well that the refs let go. IMHO.

Some much effort for such little evidence.

Jonathon Plod out in the open and fails to pass to an unmarked Morgan,Jonathon Plod kicks the ball straight into Mitchell Pearce's hands in the 72nd min instead of getting a repeat set,Jonathon Plod tackled with the ball 80 times on the 5th tackle

The Dally M plodder of the year lost the Cowboys the game not the refs

You've got a point Haynetrain. For a change.

Read it again. That is 2 images the line is from when the ball is touching him in the 1st image, the 2nd image (where his body would be duplicated I deleted, so you can see the ball in the 1st frame.

The same thing happened last week but that didn't stop you and your fellow Goosters from claiming you were robbed.
As all fans should.

It's a supporters job to be biased.

However it's not a multi-billion dollar, professional* organisation's job to be.

Fittler is appalling when Easts are playing, but it was fun watching him suffer last week. Finch (who wasn't there tonight I don't think) and Tallis just as bad. Tallis is like the missing link. How can he be possibly regarded as an appropriate sports commentator? Just look at him. Refer to his performance at Penrith Round 1 2003 to see demonstrated in full colour the complete subhuman he is. Andrew Johns is improving, others make him look better than he really is. Lockyer is good.

PLEASE Channel Nine don't allow Fittler or Finch to commentate Rooster games.

Probably what cost them if anything was the fact SBW lost it over the stripe and instead of a turnover, Roosters get the one pointer. The blatant obstruction call before it was deadset sickening. The Lui knock on is pretty debatable. How often is it seen as a knock back? Just this one time.

Absolutely feel for them. JT and Lui put on a masterclass in the halves to get them level, shame 30 points was too much and it didn't help that two Roosters tries came off the back of pure luck and nothing more.

And what about 2 of the Cowboys tries? The delusion in this place is absolutely mind boggling.

Don't get the backlash. Was hoping the cows would embarrass the roosters right until the end, but that was a blatant knock on by lui, don't know why they even used the video ref. Cowboys had their chances to win it. Thurston passes inside to Morgan and it's all over.

Fox sports commentators have declared last knock on 100 percent correct. That won't stop the conspiracy calls though. Btw, if there was a conspiracy to let the roosters win, why let the cowboys come from 30 nil down to lose to a field goal? Throw everyone off the scent maybe? Lol.

You could tell the refs were gonna call it knock on on the spot but then take it to the video to cover themselves.

I am not sure it went forward or back. I think it went in line with Lui, or very close to it. If you drop the ball straight down it's a knock on. I was hoping the Cowboys would beat the Roosters, but I can't say it went back off Lui.
