He wouldn't get into our 1st grade backline. We've got plenty of players who had better years than him, and they aren't drama queens.

Didn't Merritt try and play the race card when he was snubbed for origin? Or am I thinking of someone else :?

Maybe Mundine? The guy who played the race card when the incumbent at his position was also aboriginal. As for Merritt, I could be wrong but I don't recall hearing something like that from him.

Ignore the headlines and the team mate who said "I don't know where he is" and read the article

"Timana has asked for a few days off," Osborne said.

"He did have car problems on Monday but I knew about that. I have spoken to Steve and he knows about it [Tahu's absence].

"There are no dramas. He has been training really well, training the house down."

Pressed again on whether Tahu had gone AWOL, Osborne reiterated: "No. He is spending time with his family."

The personal demons thing is a newspaper writer extrapolating based on the fact that Tahu was overlooked for the Aboriginal Team

So other than Tahu not being a training for a few days and a team mate not knowing about him not being at training - am I missing something here.

Has Tahu requested for a long term leave of absence? Has Tahu asked for a transfer? Has Tahu asked for anything other than a few days off?

This whole thread speaks volumes about peoples attitude towards Tahu and not alot else. It seems he is really disliked and it's playing for Union and coming back and being crap that's at the core out the hatred.

What about Tuquiri, Sailor, Rogers?

Why haven't they been 'picked on'?

Nothing to do with Union. Everything to do with being a hypocritical sook.

Aren't aboriginals allowed 2 weeks a year on top of annual leave to go "walkabout". Just saying ...

Indeed
Tahu is a precious hypocritical racist.
and a whinger to boot.
Reminds me of you actually. I cannot recall any racism, just many idiotic posts.

And funny for a Raiders fan to bag a centre with some personal problems from another club. For whatever Tahu is facing, I can guarantee that it doesn't involve a camera, a throbbing hardon and an over excited German Shepherd ffs!

I did say and had been sh*t. The others have all came back and have been great.

Look all the article showed was that Parramatta have said they know Tahu has taken some time off - that the management is aware of it and that he's been training really well.

Everything else is pure conjecture on behalf of a half rate hack at the Telegraph

Personally, I dont give a damn if he plays brilliantly next season, retires or is dropped to the reserves for being useless. It's no skin off my nose. But everyone seems really happy to condemn him.

It reminds me of that scene in Monty Python Holy Grail where they want to burn the witch.

Wow. Groundhog Day. This was an exact quote in the papers last year during pre-season training. An article with a picture of Tim Tam deadlifting a club record weight and comments from club officials stating he was setting new benchmarks in power and strength and that he was in for a ripper season. What happened? Answer - Not much (at least on the field in 2010 for Timana).
