Simms is the best secondrower in the comp this year. He is playing much better football than Cordner. He should be the first player chosen for NSW and starting of course, but I doubt he will be in the run on team, he will probably be on the bench. He is made for origin too.
Cordner is solid. But I believe our entire back row players are better. And there’s others that could be in front of him.

it's a fairly simple tactic though (to take out the playmaker).

back when i was playing union i had a few games at open side flanker, and my main direction from the coach was to take out the fly half at every scrum, even if i gave away a penalty...

that was fun :)

Simple. But effective. And some of the most fun a forward can have on a footy field :)

The best part about Tariq's work at the moment is that he is hitting them hard, but not late or high. He's working to get in their face so he's in the process of tackling when they kick. Great to watch. Hope it keeps up.
