Players who "look like Tarzan, play like Jane" or in a similar sense...big blokes who hit the line like a cushion...

I'll get started with a few...

Antonio Kaufusi

Dane Carlaw

Shane Tronc, stats are always good and his metres are up there but i still have never seen him make a complete line break and even be close

Definitley William Mason post 2005.

Dane Carlaw was a great exponent of looking mean but doing nothing.

Mason post 2005 I agree with but Dane was better than most give him credit for. He won the SOO shield for QLD in 2002 and was great for the Broncs in their 2006 run to the GF...

A lot like Carl Webb, Dane Carlaw's origin career was built on one moment. In Dane's case, it was being in the right place at the right time. I mean, he ran over the top of bloody Jason Moodie with 5 metres to go ... I'm 180cm and 76kg and I reckon I'd give the firefighter a run for his money 5 metres off the line.

 Jane Carlaw...ahh good times.

In all fairness Carlaw was fantastic in 01 and 02 before he was subdued by injuries. You'd be having a laugh if you believe his entire Origin run was defined by one moment - Carlaw was one of our better players through out that series.

For me though, I can't look past Bryce Gibbs.

Ashton Sims goes close and Joel Clinton was a special for this honor before the start of 09.
