I think i am right in saying, bar ridiculous outcomes, parra will play in sydney week one of finals. Either away to penruff or home to roosters/souths. Which is good.

Then if we play week 2, it will either be cos we lose to the ruff, and it will be a sydney game. Or we will play loser of sharks/cows/storm. So d3cent chance that would be away, but could be sharks in sydney.
If we finish 4th, the only potential out of Sydney game is if we lose & Cows win week 1, we’d play them in Queensland if we make prelim.
If we finish 6th, week 2 (if we win week 1) is potentially in Cowboyland, and prelim potentially in Scumland if they beats Smugs week 1.

Maybe you are out off touch…I think you may have a miss understanding of the role of lock and prop play in the modern game ….

Do some of the better “locks” in the game, Yeo, Smith, Radley, Murray…play like a prop ?

Additionally do you think other “locks” like Hastings, Innes, Brown (tigers this week), Hodgson (last year), Walker, Watson…etc etc etc are playing like a traditional prop?

The lock and role prop role is different for most sides, a lot of locks couldn’t play the prop role while a lot props don’t have the skills to play lock …..

N.Brown plays more like a prop then Matterson who plays more like a lock. I agree they are different.
Papali'i also plays more like a prop but on the edge. Marata has been starting at lock but plays like a prop.

Matterson couldn't play PROP. Brown,Papali'ia, Marata all could

it’s interesting to see the assumption that a prop who can “ball play” is able to do it still on the first or second hit up….

rarely is there any “shape” pushing up on these hits…

generally “ball playing” only happens when there is “shape” thrown at the opposition……actually it also applies to the spine too unless it’s a quick play the ball…

Who would you prefer on bench

Makatoa or N.Brown? That's the question.

Because Kafusi runs like he has been shot put of a cannon and hurts players. Makatoa seems to stroll to the defensive line. No nuts.
Wait are you talking about our Oregon ? Shot out of a cannon and hurts players ? Is this you last week ?

Jealousy is a curse mate.

Lanes been best on field by some way. I never said pre season. I said after first trial. He looked fitter and faster.

N.Brown has since been dropped and Cartwright barely any minutes. So correct.
Maratas forms been below average and he is one dimensional. Runs hard buts that's all.
Kafusi bad hands and inconsitent? Well yes.
Matterson I based comments on last season. f**king rabbit. He is having a good season. Before this year he has been dissapointing if ask me.

So I got it correct on everyone bar Matterson well sort of. His form had been below what we expected for what we paid for the rabbit

Nrown……however I wouId actually prefer Rein and give him the last 20, adds energy in attack / line speed.

It’s obviously BA has his interchange middles times set, so why not use that 4th spot /interchange at dummy half….

Cartwright
Rein
Matterson
Kafusi

Yeah unless we finish 4th and win week 1, if we were to prelim it is quite possibly out of sydney ... tho could be sharks at fancy pants stadium

Im actually not convinced of the credentials of the sharks or 'cowboys on the road'

Kafusi is inconsitent. But he runs like he has been shot out of a cannon. His take off speed is faster then any of our props.
He just has poor leg drive once he hits the defensive line. Still runs hard and knock a guys over on occassion. Also good for a dropped ball.

Makatoa just plods to the line

I'm worried. We need to stop 3 players
Munster,Smith and Nelson
I reckon Nelson is gonna start against Lane on the edge and try and rough him up with whatever grubby shit he and bellamy can think of.
Unfortunately i dont think we have an enforcer to do a bit of our own intimidating.

Penrith will sit back on Thursday night then maybe decide who they wish to play.
If we win that's it. They play us. But if Storm win they have option of resting guys and playing the Storm or going hard and beating the Cowboys and then playing them at home the week after.

I'd back the Storm over Sharks.

Lane would have his work cut out. On a positive, if that’s the case brown is on that edge too. Marata will need to be our enforcer, unless Nrown is selected.

Hope he does start on the edge, yeah we have to get numbers into the tackle when he runs….but gee he wouId give us a liability/target in attack….

and let him do to his stupidity enforcer trick…plays into our game….he is prone to errors when he does..plus it wouId give Laney more room too…

Anyhow is he even on Lanes side…

Penrith will need to cut their squad to 19 for friday before our game is over. They will need to decide whether to rest a heap of merkins before then if they want to

There’s also always the potential PVL decides to play GF in Brisbane. Which if we Bradburyed it that far, is kinda a home game (if @hineyrulz gets off his ass)
