Use of our bench and overplaying our 8,9 and 10 proved to be an issue in the past later in the season. Lets see how much game time 14 through 17 get. One feels Jrthur would be better served developing his game in the 2s than playing limited minutes in the 1s. Im not a fan of shuffling Dyl around if thats the plan. Developing combinations should be a priority I would think. Game day will reveal all. Dont sell The Tits short.

Roosters and Brisbane both have a halfback
Dogs have Baili Bindi a halfback
Storm have Nikorima. Is he a halfback?
Saints have Mbye also a half or centre.

There was talk from some of the coaches and talking heads that seems like an expectation the comp will be faster this year and that smaller players on bench will be a more prevalent strategy.

I was concerned after seeing how the rainfall has been doing Sydney over. Also, possibilties of injuries coming from a playing surface that may or may not be suitable.

The Dogs and Raiders if they had half a brain should have offered Jake Arthur a nice deal. He is better than both of their first choice halfbacks.

I don't have an issue with bench.

Makatoa,Stone and Kafusi where always most likely to be picked. With Brown and Marata not considered. The only spot that was up for grabs was JA. Would Bryce or R3in be a better option? Maybe but neither will have a bearing on the result. JA got the nod based on his pre season effort .

We carried Dunster on the bench in games last season.
