Damn there are some wankers that support the Eels.. Mainly on Facebook and the other socials..

JA covers almost all spots He moves to 5/8 Drown moves to the centres or even to lock and Matto to second row of needed..

I am sure most of those whinging about JA probably would rather have Rankin in the 17...

How does jnr cover most spots? Drown has never played centre except for the panthers trial. Having both stone and jnr makes little sense. Unless one of our spine players is in doubt.

So JA covers most of the bench spots as long as we shuffle our halves or lock to accomodate him. We all want Brown to take his game to the next level and it looks like he's going to be shunted to the centres so the coaches son can get a run. I've been saying it for a while Brown is nuts if he stays here. He will never be an elite player under the collision chaser.

Funnily enough JA probably isnt the worst father son selection of the week.

Kevin walters managed to pick his son Billy at 5/8. Who probably has less ability then JA.

Nuikore and Nrown walk straight back in the 17 when fit and available. So which 2 get dropped? Makatoa and Arthur?
I think Stone stays for his defence and shabby ability to cover hooker.
Nuikore can cover centre If need be and then shuffle other backs to provide coverage and Matto or Cartwright can play 5/8 if needed
I think playing JA is being disruptive to the halves combo and Drown being moved unnecessarily to include JA.
Not convinced he should be in the top 17.
Feel like we are robbing Peter to pay Paul.

Is Moses an elite play maker??? He's a damn good halfback these days but he's not an elite playmaker by any means. And Brown is already being paid 700k yet time and time again he seems to be given the back seat so Jakey boy can get a go. It's supposed to be a professional RL club not the Arthur family benefit relief fund.

If we move brown to the centres, he’d be one of the highest paid in the nrl in that position.

And he's never played an NRL game there, i have no doubt he could be a damn good centre but for 700-800k it's a waste. Waqa finally found his mojo for us in the backend of last year and Penisini is one of the best young centres in the game. All this just for Jakey boy to get a go. The Nepotism Gnome strikes again.

I'm kinda excited to see how we go with shrub. Might give us more points of attack if he really has kicked on. And let's be honest, plenty of us were giving it to Brown about his lack of try assists. And it's only the Titans.

I think some ideas or opinions were thrown around the forum, in the offseason about Dylan playing fullback.

Bea isn't even bothering to hide the nepotism anymore, is it whats best for the club or team or whats best for team Arthur??? Would Jake be anywhere near the 17 if his last name was Smith??? In 8 seasons has Bea ever picked a half on the bench??? It's the Titans and it might not matter but it's hardly the point.

Your being silly. Why would you want to give Rankin a guy with no future experience.
JA might be a flop but its to early to predict that. These guys have a lot more experience in league then you or me.
I agree that JA would be better playing NSW cup then 15 mins in NRL. I also doubt this is a long term option. Just like when Dunster was picked on the bench. If it was an important game Dunster wouldn't of been there.
