JA might be a flop but its to early to predict that. These guys have a lot more experience in league then you or me.
I agree that JA would be better playing NSW cup then 15 mins in NRL. I also doubt this is a long term option. Just like when Dunster was picked on the bench. If it was an important game Dunster wouldn't of been there.

Where did i say that??? I said Brown was made to take a back seat for Jakey boy. Which he did, our coach told us all Jakey will play 7 and lead the team around the park because thats what he does in Reserve grade which was BS. Rankin was the senior play maker in that team. Brown was the more experienced half and should of been given the keys to the side instead Jakey boy gets the gig. Remember how well it all went??? It cost us a top 4 spot and any real chance of winning the premiership.


If Brown or Moses are out i have no problem with him being next in line but now Bea is manufacturing ways to get his son into the side which is BS IMO. Jake make turn into a top quality NRL half but he's not even close yet and continually stuffing around Brown can hardly be a good thing for his development as a half.

And he's never played an NRL game there, i have no doubt he could be a damn good centre but for 700-800k it's a waste. Waqa finally found his mojo for us in the backend of last year and Penisini is one of the best young centres in the game. All this just for Jakey boy to get a go. The Nepotism Gnome strikes again.

He's part of our squad and will get picked at times. It would be dumb to play our best 17 against anyone other than the Top 4-5 teams. Its a marathon, not a sprint and you've already semened yourself 3 times before the opening game FFS!

Ummmm yes time and time again, remember last year when Moses was out and Jakey boy was given the keys to the team while the senior more experienced half had to take a back seat???? The Nepotism gnome even said that we'll leave Dyl to do what he does best while Jake will do what he's been doing in Reserve grade. Bea isn't even bothering to hide the nepotism anymore, is it whats best for the club or team or whats best for team Arthur??? Would Jake be anywhere near the 17 if his last name was Smith??? In 8 seasons has Bea ever picked a half on the bench??? It's the Titans and it might not matter but it's hardly the point.

What have you seen from Jakey boy that makes you think he's a 7's arsehole as well??? Dylan played a great game when moved to 7 when Moses was injured against Canberra in 2020 and the next week he played 7 when we thumped the cows. Field was in the side and the back up 7 in NSW Cup and made to play second fiddle back then, but a year later and another year under Browns belt he was unable to do that job that the great Jakey can apparently do......... NEPOTIIIISSSSSSMMMMMMM GNOOOOOOOMMMMEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

I have no problem with him being picked when warranted, but with Stone also on the bench how does it warrant him also being picked??? So you are happy our 700k half is going to be pushed into the centres just so the coaches son gets yet another chance??? As i said Bea isn't even trying to hide it anymore. You seem to be missing the fundamental point that was made about depth.

You just find something every week to whinge about and most of it is dumb. Credit to you though, you do a good job at shifting the angles each week to minimise your own dickery. You are the Donald Trump of this forum (with a superior golf game...).

Use of our bench and overplaying our 8,9 and 10 proved to be an issue in the past later in the season. Lets see how much game time 14 through 17 get. One feels Jrthur would be better served developing his game in the 2s than playing limited minutes in the 1s. Im not a fan of shuffling Dyl around if thats the plan. Developing combinations should be a priority I would think. Game day will reveal all. Dont sell The Tits short.

Nuikore and Nrown walk straight back in the 17 when fit and available. So which 2 get dropped? Makatoa and Arthur?
I think Stone stays for his defence and shabby ability to cover hooker.
Nuikore can cover centre If need be and then shuffle other backs to provide coverage and Matto or Cartwright can play 5/8 if needed
I think playing JA is being disruptive to the halves combo and Drown being moved unnecessarily to include JA.
Not convinced he should be in the top 17.
Feel like we are robbing Peter to pay Paul.

Why not use Cartwright??? Or Rein??? Didn't we sign him to give Mahoney a rest in games?? Parachuting his son into the 17 just because is hardly the same as picking a forward on the bench for 5 mins week after week while flogging our middles for 60+ mins every single week.

Remember when Mahoney was taken off against canberra with a must win game in the balance(once again for his son) while the next week he's left on when we are down by 30 only to get injured. Thats right Jakey boy was already on the field so nobody had to make way for him.
