It's very exciting. First TLT for the year..
The suspense is immense particularly for the bench.
I think Cini if fit should get the right wing spot otherwise Lumulume will get it. Dunster and Loizou will start in reserves. Russell being suspended is unfortunate.
Bench I reckon will be JA, Murchie, Ogden and Greig/Makatoa. Weak bench.
Expecting Cartwright and Doorey in the back row.

Lumulume isn't top 30. No chance if ask me. Cini would be but also not top 30.
I find S.Laizou being in the top 30 odd. Does the club even rate him? Don't hear much about him as far as people rating him etx.

Just read the projected nsw cup team on TCT, God theres a lot of dead wood in that team. Especially in key positions, MON has got a lot of work ahead of him.

Who stays at same level?
Who declines?
How are new additions to losses?

I'll break it down as I am off today.

1.Guth - Same 7.5
2.Sivo - Same 7.5
3.Penisini - Improves 6 --> 7.5
4. Waqa - Improves - Poor season last and contract year 4.5 --6/7
5. Russel - I'd say a slight improvement on Simmonson 5.5 - 6/6.5

So our backline goes from 31.5 ---> 35/36

Depth improves with Cini,Haze,Russel more ready and Sivo fit who missed half the season and just the loss of Opacic

6 D.Brown - 7.5 --> 8/8.5 Improves
7.Moses - 8.5 Same



So we gain maybe a point here. 16--> 17

I think Hopgood may start but Matto is still there so its even

I give double points for halves and hooker and half for 3 off bench players and not many for depth

2023 TOTAL = 134 if Rein is hooker 138 / 142 if Hodgson stays fit.

Overall we actualy should be a better side once I factor in all the numbers. That's quite strange as I didn't expect that.
I guess a lot depends on form and if guys can remain the same level.

Cheer girls are outdated and I prefer we don't have them tbh. A bunch of men gawking and smiling as these young girls dancing.

But how does a teenage girl footy fan who is slightly over weight feel when she has to experience that environment. My guess is like shit.

If I go to the footy its to watch the game. I also couldn't give a hoot about halftime entertainment. You have 10 mins to get up and stretch, hang a piss or grab a pie or drink.
I'd rather maybe a 5-7 min doco on each player or some highlights from previous years put up on the big screen.
Do you really need to be entertained for every single minute. Its a game of footy. Could also just chat to your friends you went with or some random fans sitting near you.

To be honest whats served up is far from entertainment. Its a total annoyance. I just dont get it. Yep maybe something footy related would be good. After all we are footy fans. I like the cheer girls. Kids getting photos with them etc. Tradition is what I mostly like about them. Maybe we could go with a more mature group of cheer girls similar to Qantas Hostesses? I think they add to the atmosphere. Each to their own I guess.

I reckon they will be a mile off in their selections. JA for one will be on the bench in the 1s. Nothing surer. At least we finally get an idea of our Cup and Flegg Squads. Although they could possibly be TBA.

He might be behind these 2 based on what we saw in the trials, however Cini hasnt been tried as a winger and is on a development contract and Lumelume hasnt been given an NRL or Development contract to my knowledge so can't be selected regardless. Loizou is already in the top 30 squad.

It’s odd that Lumelume started the last trial given he’s not even in the development list.

Would it not be good motivation for the Teenage footy fan (boy or girl) to maybe improve there eating habits/health and make the necessary changes so that they are not overweight?? Seeing Role models at a healthy weight.

I always tell my friends and family when they are overweight or being unhealthy (overdoing it); to sort it out; without fear of hurting their feels. This is because I care about them; being fat in this day and age with all the information and resources available is easily avoided.

Except we go to watch the footy. You enjoy a debate. But there are times where you are not comparing apples with oranges.
We are not going to watch cheerleaders and they are time to go.
