I heard a few journos say that clubs named players who were not even eligible or injured, simply because they were required to name 22 on Tuesday.

You may be right, but common sense says we don't waste a spot on Lumelume when we have Dunster and Russell a week or so away.

But honestly you think an 83yld man with heaps of money or even a 35yld for that sake isn't able to take advantage or manipulate a 19yld who has had what maybe a year or two out of school and barely anytime or freedom to have to think for themself or make an real important life decisions? They are naive and vulnerable and guys like him exploited the shit out of them.

Is it any different to how hot women of any age can exploit desperate, lonely men? If you’ve got something people want you’ll have power over them. Whether you abuse that power is a separate issue.

Why is it foul and predatory?

It is a value exchange. The 83 year old man provides financial value and the 19 year old Woman provides youth and beauty?

Could you not say the 19 year old is taking advantage of the 83 year old? and that it is foul and predatory behaviour as well?

83 year old gets to bang a hot bird in her prime and the 19 year old gets access to his financial resources and network.

To be honest I think both parties are foul and predatory. But they are grown ups, and free to do what they want.

Has anyone else in the 17 trained at dummy half during the off-season? Do you end up with a weird shift of Cartwright to 6 and Dylan to 9 if Hodgson is off?

I read a while back Hopgood played some hooker in the lower grades. We have plenty of middles on the bench so my guess would be he is the emergency hooker. Has the skills stamina and defensive ability.

Rankin at 1 is laughable, he is old slow and well past it. I know Russell is out but Rankin should stick to coaching. Yates getting promoted over Rein is a positive IMO.
