I simply do not understand why Cartwright keeps getting selected for a cameo appearance. Either he's good enough for first grade or he's not. I'd have Mitch Rein on the bench, as I think he needs more game time, for a couple of reasons.

IMO the real story here is why doesn't Bazal post in our forum anymore? I can see from the general threads that he clearly still lurks. Too good for us?
Apparently someone in here stalked him on Facebook and he just thought what’s the point posting in here. I don’t blame him.

I'm more worried about the Jekyll and Hyde nature of this team - if Jekyll shows up, we easily concede 40 points; if Hyde shows up, we put in a strong effort, but ultimately fall short.

Consistency is a word that the Parramatta Eels have only ever read about in the newspapers...

We"ll probably aim up this week and certainly push penrith.

Last time Reed Mahoney played Penrith we beat them in round 5, 2020.

He has missed the last 4 games between the teams through injury.

So we finally get a crack at penrith with our full spine.

I am not sure Penrith are going as good as 8/8.
Dragons had them. Knights looked a shot but had 12 men. Did ok. No Cleary but other two where missing guys.

Canberra and Dogs they ran away with it but both stuck with them for a while. Anyhows both are ordinary sides.

And then the Titans. Ugly win.

Half their games have not been pretty. 5 of their games at home. This will be 6/9 at home.

I am sure they will be primed for a big one. But they are beatable.

Storm look superior to me and we did them.

Penrith will aim up for this game - it's the Western Sydney derby, after all.

The gameplan to beat the Eels is just to high with high energy, and play up-tempo football - Penrith can do that with their eyes closed.

As long as the team puts in the effort, I can accept a loss.

Yes the Cowboys game stunk. But at 14-4 we copped 3 late tries that blew the score out.
Lanes dropped ball over line took away any chance of a comeback. I forget when it happened but I think it was 14-0. Would of been 14-6.

Hot and humid and no chance of winning we gave up in the last 10-12mins. It happens. Nothing was working.

They still know how to win. I’m almost confident we’ll bounce back and give it a red hot crack.

Marata, Sivo and Waqa will add ridiculous power. At the moment their hit ups are taken by Perham, Opacic and Makatoa. Three soft runners of the ball. And when you look at 10-12 runs a game that's probably 35 between them.

I wouldn't under estimate how much difference this will make. We dead set rely solely on our power game and running over the top of sides.

Waqa was in the top 5 backs in the game based on this year's form. Huge loss.

I must admit - I am really excited to get Sivo, and Blake back into the side; those two players alone add some much-needed firepower.

Yeah. Theres not an Eels supporter that wasnt thinking that when Rheed looked gone last game. Sadly its a case of when not if. Our Eels rarely see the best of Rheed given his workload. Hes not an 80 min player I reckon. Its happening again Ivor.

Lol. Media. They make a story betting both sides against the middle.
And while on The Media, why dosent our @Poupou Escobar apply for a job with Eels Media. Can you imagine how he would have fu*ked up those trolls on The Clubs Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. How about it Poo. Use your evil talent for some good?
If Poo was the social media responder, they would all unfollow the Eels coz they couldn't find the block setting
