I know we lift for big games. But wouldn't it be better to lift for the easier games and let the big guns roll us.
Then come finals suprise them?
Tanking games ? We would need to add Nick Kyrgios to the coaching staff.

Do you think we tanked in our last game in 2009 the week before we knew we would be playing the Dragons the following week?
What about our last game this season against the Panthers where we threw in a bunch of nuffies?

Yes. I admit to knocking Sivo but he is heads and shoulder above what we currently have.

I've been critical of him, as well.

But he is almost unstoppable 10m out, he carries the ball strongly, and he isn't a liability under the high ball.

We are missing him, badly.

And Blake was arguably in career-best form on the wing, before his injury.

When everyone is fit, I'd have:

1. Gutherson
2. Sivo
3. Penisini
4. Opacic
5. Blake

Plenty of strike power there, and I'd have Opacic defend with Blake, as Opacic is a great defensive communicator.

Blake being on the wing also gets him more ball, which is only a good thing for us.

Would you have simmonsonn as the utility.

He was canberra's utility in their 2019 GF run. He came off the bench in the finals.

Only if you had other people in the side who can cover the positions he can’t. In our team we have Gutherson and Drown who can cover other positions, so we can have any back we like on the bench, or none at all if we want to roll the dice. It’s very exciting.

It’s a backflip! Russell was ahead of both Opacic and Perham when he got injured but after the Darwin debacle Russell is now in f**king reserve grade ffs!!!

More likely is the Premiers aren’t ideal opposition for teenagers.
And the made-up bullshit starts to flow again... :poo: . What's the point?

More likely it's Russell's first week back from injury, and they want to give him one hit out (potentially 40-60mins) at a lower grade, before a full 80mins return to NRL. If he gets through that without incident adn his recovery holds, look for him to take over Perham's spot next round.
