And the made-up bullshit starts to flow again... :poo: . What's the point?

More likely it's Russell's first week back from injury, and they want to give him one hit out (potentially 40-60mins) at a lower grade, before a full 80mins return to NRL. If he gets through that without incident adn his recovery holds, look for him to take over Perham's spot next round.
I am wondering if your "must challenge everything Pou says" approach has resulted in you missing his sarcasm and looking a little bit silly.

Is his sarcasm something anyone other than himself appreciates? I've been posting here for a few days shy of a year now (and reading for longer), and Poupou Escobar seems to just post repetitive contrary nonsense to try and get a rise out of everyone and anyone.

Sarcasm can be an art... but if his posts are sarcasm, they've got as much art as the muzac version of the Beatles.

Pou generally has two styles of posts he makes. One that makes it seem he is constantly contrary, however i reckon his contrariness (sp) is actually his way of posting logic based/non-emotional commentary to the more typical, emotional posts that occur on here. Just because it is not emotional makes it appear more contrary than it actually is and actually drives even more emotional responses. The other type of posts he often makes are sarcastic posts which he uses in response to posts that are seemingly ridiculous in the extreme. He also sometimes tries to post something humorous, however he isnt very funny and those ones just fall flat 85% of the time.
Oh and like many others, I have been on this site since before Jaryd Hayne's or Pou's debut and this is just Pou and his posting style.

I’m sure that’s exactly what will happen. I f**king hope so anyway. Perham is neither winger nor first grader.

Depends on his utility value, I guess.

Simonsson is very good, but Sivo, and Blake, offer more strike power.

The only alternative is Waqa back to centre. And Opacic in reserves. Attack wise better option as we are faster and more dangerous. But defense?

Plus I still remember Waqa under a few high balls. He is a little shaky at times.

True.

I thought Waqa looked sharper on the wing, than at centre.

Russell injury probably couldn't of come at a worse time. He may of cemented himself in the 17. I imagine he will be in the side next week for 2 or 3 games untill Sivo or Waqa are ready. But can he do enough in a few games to take a spot?

Same but he also finished last year in excellent form in centre and only had one game there or two this year where he also looked sharp.
Could be a case of just being in form.

That's likely - he's too good a player to perform poorly on a regular basis.
