Despite what TCT might reports, my mail is that Stone has gotten a bit too big for a dummy half role and no longer is an option in that space.
Apparently though he is becoming a very good wide running forward.

Any idea how big?

I love his work rate and aggro but I thought he was probably a bit small...if he's put on some kegs, that could be a very good thing

Very Greg Bird shaped body.

He is in rehab training at the moment, but he still spends time at dummy half. I believe the thinking is if he is on the bench it gives the coach an option of him spending 10 minutes there to give Reed a breather. Not so he's our back up hooker. Jessie Cronin is doing it in the 20s as well

The one game he played as an edge forward he scored 4 tries. Round 26 in 2017 against the rabbits. I guess given the depth we've had on the edge over the years and it seeming like Tep is going to be used mainly in the middle this year, Ma'u creeping closer to retirement we need someone to come off the bench. The fact he also has experience in the middle and if needed can spend some time at hooker is a bonus for him.

There was talk on social media yesterday that the Sharks signed Segayaro so that if the Cap fines are huge, they can bounce him as last man signed - not Shaun Johnston.
Would it matter? If indeed this is the way it works wouldn’t they have to get rid of both because segayaro’s contract wouldn’t be enough to get them under?

Actually, not for the last 2 months probably. I do have some catching up to do.
Not to much catching up. Ba is still shit, Kane Evans is still unfit or just depth or just a backup, still plenty of fish jokes about salmon. The only difference I can think of is whether Luke is worth signing or not

The club must have known that Kaysa was not right for a while. Even the joke around here about him catching fire and exploding were half serious. What's happening with iLuke? Anyone know?
Just waiting for Apple to release the se plus model

Segs wouldn't by himself but they have others they could let go.

Of course I don't believe that's why they signed him. There is not, and has never been, a last in first out rule that I've seen

More likely they signed Seggy on the cheap so that, if they do get stung, they can let go someone higher paid than him and still hang on to a cheap, highly experienced spine player.
From what I have read there seems to be unquoted reports that the NRL won’t let the last player signed if they are over the cap. Which I take to mean he is still on your books but you can’t him. I assume that it would be multiple players if one’s contract price isn’t enough. However like I said I haven’t actually heard anyone from the NRL say this

Where are these reports? It's a rumour that has spread quickly over the internet.

It's also different to not register a contract, which I assume would be the case here, than to have "last in first out" policy

Why do these have to be anywhere. I’ve heard it on various sports programs some claiming it as fact and others doubting its existence. You might spend your time reading rumors on the internet, besides this place I don’t

There is one I found in 2 seconds, next time do your own research rather than going off half cocked
